1. Introduction
Welcome to Konnect International Limited ("Konnect International," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Hong Kong SAR. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kyniskis Band device, the Kyniskis mobile application, our website at konnectlabai.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account, pairing a Kyniskis Band, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Important: The Kyniskis Band is a wellness and fitness device, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions based on data from the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. If you are between 13 and the legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for your activity.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our sole discretion.
3. Account Registration
To use the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately at jeff.qiao@konnectlabai.com of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Membership & Payments
Subscription
Kyniskis Band is offered through a subscription membership. Membership options and current pricing are displayed at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.
Auto-Renewal
Unless you cancel before the end of your current membership period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same duration at the then-current rate. We will notify you before renewal.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through the Kyniskis App or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. No refunds are provided for partial membership periods, except as required by applicable law.
Free Trials
We may offer free trial periods. At the end of the trial, your paid membership will begin unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and duration are specified at sign-up.
5. Device Use & License
Subject to these Terms and your active membership, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Use the Kyniskis Band device for your personal, non-commercial use
- Download and install the Kyniskis App on devices you own or control
- Access and use the Content and features provided through the Services
You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the device software or app; rent, lease, or resell the Services; use the Services for any illegal purpose; or interfere with the proper operation of the Services.
The device is for personal use only. Sharing a single device between multiple users may produce inaccurate data.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services, including the Kyniskis Band hardware design, software, mobile application, website, algorithms, branding, and all Content (collectively, "IP"), are owned by Konnect International Limited or its licensors and are protected by Hong Kong and international intellectual property laws.
"KYNISKIS," "Konnect International," "ThresZone," and all related logos are trademarks of Konnect International Limited. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission. All other trademarks appearing on the Services are the property of their respective owners.
6.1 ThresZone — Definition
ThresZone (a contraction of "Threshold Zone") is a proprietary training metric and algorithmic evaluation framework developed by Konnect International Limited for the Kyniskis platform.
The term combines two concepts:
Threshold — derived from "thresh" (to separate grain from chaff, to discern the boundary) and "hold" (to maintain position, to sustain). In training physiology, the threshold marks the boundary between productive adaptation and non-productive overload. It is the line where stimulus becomes growth — neither too little nor too much. To "hold" the threshold is the discipline of staying precisely at this edge.
Zone — the continuous operational range within which the body's neuroendocrine system responds optimally. When you train inside this zone, the hypothalamus and pituitary regulate cortisol rhythm, testosterone release, and growth hormone timing — producing a state of hormonal equilibrium that sustains efficient fat metabolism, complete recovery, and progressive strength adaptation over time.
The ThresZone metric integrates cardiovascular load, movement volume, and daily activity data, processed through a personalized baseline (derived from each user's 30-day training history) and a hyperbolic tangent (tanh) scaling model. The result is a 0-100 score that quantifies how much adaptive stimulus a user has applied on a given day — guiding them to remain inside the growth zone, at the edge of what their body can handle, without exceeding what it can recover from.
ThresZone is a trademark of Konnect International Limited. Unauthorized use of the term, the underlying algorithm, or any derivative implementations is prohibited.
7. User-Generated Data
You own your data. The health, wellness, and activity data generated by your use of the Kyniskis Band ("User Data") belongs to you. By using the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your User Data solely as necessary to:
- Provide and improve the Services to you
- Conduct research and development using de-identified, aggregated data
- Comply with legal obligations

8. Health Disclaimer
The Kyniskis Band is a wellness device — not a medical device. It has not been cleared or approved by any medical regulatory authority. The data and insights provided are for informational and educational purposes only.
You should not:
- Use the Services to diagnose or treat any medical condition
- Disregard professional medical advice based on data from the Services
- Use the Services during activities where device failure could cause injury
If you have a known medical condition, consult your doctor before using the Kyniskis Band. Stop use immediately if you experience skin irritation or discomfort.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Konnect International Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or health complications.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the greater of HKD 1,000 or the membership fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 60 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account and/or through the Kyniskis App at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
